Registration and Appointments
Under the National Vaccination Programme (NVP), vaccination is free for all eligible Singapore Citizens, Permanent Resident, Long Term Pass Holders and certain Short Term Pass holders
Unvaccinated individuals who are receiving COVID-19 vaccination in 2024/2025 should receive:
a) Ages 6 months to 4 years: Two vaccine doses, eight weeks apart; and
b) Ages 5 years and older: One vaccine dose.
Vaccinated individuals aged 6 months and above who are receiving an additional dose of COVID-19 vaccination in 2024/2025, should receive it at an interval of around one year (and at least five months) from the last vaccine dose.
You may book an appointment at a Healthier SG General Practitioner (GP) clinic through vaccine.gov.sg/covid, or at selected polyclinics through the HealthHub booking system. Alternatively, individuals may walk in to any Joint Testing and Vaccination Centre (JTVC)* without an appointment.
*The five JTVCs at Bukit Merah, Jurong East, Kaki Bukit, Sengkang and Woodlands will cease operations from 1 December 2024. Individuals who wish to receive their COVID-19 vaccinations at a JTVC should do so by 30 November 2024.
Children/wards below 18 years will require the consent of their parents/guardians to get vaccinated. Those aged 12 years and below must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Identification document must be brought along on day of vaccination for verification purpose.
Holders of Training Employment Pass, Training Work Permit, Work Holiday Pass, Special Pass and Short Term Visit Pass with a pass validity period of at least 60 days may call a Healthier SG General Practitioner (GP) clinic to book an appointment. The pass holder should bring along identifying documents such as a passport or approval of extension of stay in Singapore for verification purposes.

You may book an appointment at a Healthier SG General Practitioner (GP) clinic that offer the Novavax/Nuvaxovid COVID-19 vaccine through vaccine.gov.sg/covid.
Please note that the Novavax/Nuvaxovid vaccine is only approved for use in persons aged 12 years and above.

The COVID-19 vaccination is free for all Singaporeans and long-term residents in Singapore and no one should ask you for a payment. The link that is provided in the SMS should go to "vaccine.gov.sg". Only government officials can register for a gov.sg domain. Do not trust any other URLs that are not from a .gov.sg domain.
When in doubt, you should check with the agency who sent you the message to confirm the authenticity before responding to the message.
Vaccination Day
• Bring your ID (NRIC/FIN/Student Pass/Birth Certificate and Health Booklet)

• Please wear short sleeved attire, or sleeves loose enough to be rolled up
Health and Safety
Recently recovered persons being vaccinated should receive a vaccine dose at the recommended interval after any previous dose(s), and at least 28 days after the infection although an interval of three months from the infection is recommended for better effectiveness.
The vaccine has been assessed to be safe for use. However, you may experience common side effects, similar to other vaccines. Most side effects are mild or moderate, and usually get better within a few days. The table below lists some common side effects that have been reported with this vaccine, and how to manage them.

See a doctor if:
- The side effects persist or get worse.
- The fever persists for more than 48 hours (2 days).
- Respiratory symptoms such as cough, runny nose, sore throat, shortness of breath or loss of sense of taste and smell develop.
- Heart or chest symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath or abnormal heart beats develop.
In very rare cases, this vaccine can cause a severe allergic reaction. Signs of a severe allergic reaction include: difficulty breathing, swelling of your face, throat, eyes or lips, a fast heartbeat, dizziness and weakness, a bad rash all over your body. If you experience a severe allergic reaction, seek medical attention immediately. Call 995 or go to the nearest A&E immediately.
The Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS) has permitted COVID-19 vaccines for Muslim use.
